Colleen's Story

This is the true story of a person, like you, who is living with psoriasis. She wanted more from her treatment and has found help with REMICADE.

"I tried lots of treatments over the years — creams, pills, light therapy. Nothing worked.
So I just did my best to conceal the problem: long pants, long sleeves, light colors. Dating was awkward; I would always wait months before I would talk about my psoriasis. Then I started dating the man who is now my husband — he has a house in Florida, and I couldn't even enjoy going to the beach with him.

"I tried lots of treatments over the years — creams, pills, light therapy. Nothing worked."

My mom told me about REMICADE — an advanced treatment that was working well for many people. So I talked to my dermatologist, and we decided it was the right medication for me. Well, I started to see results after just 2 weeks. And within 2 months, my skin was pretty much clear. And for the first time in 17 years, I could wear shorts without feeling self-conscious.

"I can just be myself, and enjoy summer like everyone else."

"I know there's no cure for psoriasis. But for me, REMICADE made all the difference. Now I get a treatment every two months. I don't need my creams anymore — one year later and my skin is still pretty much clear. I can just be myself, and enjoy summer like everyone else."

Colleen is representative of patients responding to REMICADE therapy under a physician's supervision. Individual results may vary.
